CENTRAL YOUTH EVENGELICAL FRONT (C.Y.E.F)
The Youth Evangelical Front (YEF) is the official youth organization of the Holy Church, established on 18th January, 1992. Founded by Dr. L.B. Sailo and other youth leaders in Thakthing Veng, its mission is to foster the spiritual and holistic development of young people.
Its philosophy is guided by three core mottos:
1. Respect to parents: Honoring and showing reverence for one’s parents.
2. Sanctity to the Lord: Upholding a life of holiness and dedication to God.
3. Pursue the quality of selfless service (Mizo Tlawmngaihna): Embodying the Mizo principle of putting others’ needs before one’s own.
The main governing body is the Central Youth Evangelical Front (CYEF). Two key functions under the CYEF are the Traffic Cell and Temple Security.
Traffic Cell: This group guides and manages vehicle traffic, particularly during large events at Solomon’s Temple. At the local level, they also provide traffic control for funerals and weddings of church members.
Temple Security: Members of this group are responsible for maintaining security within the Solomon’s Temple area during church events and other programs.
The YEF’s structure is organized hierarchically, with dedicated office bearers and committee members at every level. These include the Division YEF and Unit YEF, ensuring the organization’s mission is carried out from the central body down to individual localities.
