Solomon’s Temple Revived

When we read 2 Chron. 7:1 9-20, and I Ki : 6-7, God foretold King Solomon about the unfaithfulness of the chosen nation by worshipping other gods or idols and abominations practised in the temple and forewarned that he would cast it out of His sight.

The very warnings of God were unheeded by the Israelites, the chosen nation, and they were actually practising abominations in the temple (Eze. 8:5-6; 9-12; 14-18). “Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the temple,”(Eze.10:18). Jesus also informed the people of Israel, “Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.”

The new site and the new nation: Since the Lord God Almighty abandoned the Temple in Israel, where is the new site of the temple and the new nation? The prophet Micah foretold, “As for you, tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it shall come, a kingdom for the daughter of Jerusalem,” (Micah 4:8). Even the prophet Isaiah foreseen, “They shall call them, the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord,’ and you shall be called, ‘Sought out’ a city not forsaken,” (62:12); and the new region lies in the east, “Therefore, glorify the Lord in the region of the sunrise,” (Is. 24:15). Many Bible scholars claimed that the city is Jerusalem. But, that is baseless as when Isaiah said this, Jerusalem was already a capital for the Israelites which need not be ‘sought out’.

Apostle Paul also mentioned, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation; and by an unintelligent nation, I will make my people angry,” and the same was told in Deuteronomy,(Rom. 10:19, Deut. 32:21). The Mizos are very backward in science and technology, having a population less than one million (no nation).

The prophet of doom, Jeremiah foretold, “In those days, and at that time, says Jehovah, the sons of Israel shall come, they and the sons of Judah together, going and weeping. They shall go and seek Jehovah their God. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces there, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to Jehovah in an everlasting covenant never to be forgotten” (Jer. 50:4).

Almost for two thousand years, believers in Christ have built temples, Cathedrals and Churches under various names of holy believers of the past of denominations or localities but not God’s temple worth to name, Solomon’s Temple. Now God has found a site for His temple again to be called Solomon’s Temple.

The Almighty God through the Holy Spirit, enjoined Dr. L.B. Sailo, the founder of the Holy Church to build Solomon’s Temple in the year 1991, herein the state of Mizoram, one of the states of the Indian Union. He was informed the detail design and structure of the Temple. As per God’s instruction, the ideal site for construction was thoroughly search over the whole of Aizawl and its adjoining areas. A piece of land was purchased in the eastern part of Aizawl, but due to the inaccessibility and unavailability of means of transportation system to the area, and the inadequate size of the land acquired, the site was purposefully relocated to the western part of Aizawl, known to the local people as Chawlhhmun. And it was then renamed as Kidron Valley, which is 10 Kilometres away from the heart of Aizawl city.

God, through his Holy Church, is going to build the temple. The foundation stone was laid on 25th Dec. 1996 for the whole world to know. It will, once again, stand a visible symbol of God’s presence with his elects born in the blood of Jesus Christ here on earth in the new site of Solomon’s temple called Kidron Valley.
